Just beyond the laboratory, zoo, and cabins is Illian park, a large stretch of green that disappears into the forest beyond. It's spotted by trees, mostly evergreens and oaks.

"I think WM won't be over populated with humans...I'm almost certain that the animals actually keep us under control." she joked...not having any real idea of what powers the animals on the mountain had. Michelle sipped the drink again...it getting significantly colder with time...yet the feel always welcome to Michelle, "You should join me on a hike one day." she suggested thinking when she hike the mountain for soil samples it would be nice for her writings. Michelle thought about the few people here, "I do admit to wanting a family, but I don't want to intrude on what's not mine...I just hope the other few humans feel that way." she said almost halfway paying attention to her own words. "I'm from Alabama..." she said in her thick southern accent. "I came here because I love mountains and duh wanted to get away from my family" she laughed.
"No I like to play...but Michelle work me so hard...that I only play on weekends. I am a herder...I spend all day running. I am most happy just watching you two run." Midnight said. "Not only that but I've been kicked in the ribs by a llama when I was younger...my right lung capacity isn't as much as other dogs." She explained. Which really meant that Michelle worked her the normal amount of a single herding dog home. The snow was soft and cold to her rear...but she didn't complain about this...at least it wasn't walking up the side of a mountain...all because Midnight would not allow for Michelle to travel the mountain alone.
